Clothestrophy is an incomplete project that was created to reveal the reality about the labour exploitation in garment industry. It was designed as social experiment, but it hasn’t been applied yet.
In this empirical project, a fake store was planned to be set with the donated clothes that will be retouched  and hidden prints about labour exploitation in garment industry will be attached on them. The store was planned to be presented as a cheap fast fashion spot to pull as many customers as it can. And the shopping attitudes of customers will be observed before and after they notice these hidden messages. The project will aim to understand by observations and surveys if the facts that consumer learned through hidden messages in the store have any effect on their behaviours and decisions.
